When to hold a corporate event in Tunisia? Climate and calendar

Tunisia works almost all year round, but not everywhere at the same time. Here is the calendar as we advise it to our clients, destination by destination.

Spring: the prime season

From April to mid-June, the whole country is at its best: 20 to 28 °C on the coast, swimmable sea from May, superb light, still-mild desert. It is the most requested period for events in Tunis and Hammamet; hotels fill up, book three to four months ahead and watch European bank holidays.

Summer: the coast only

July and August are hot (30 to 36 °C) and very touristy on the coast. Corporate events are rare; companies that come choose seaside formats, early-morning sessions and late evenings. The South is out of the question.

Autumn: the second season

From mid-September to November, the sea is warm, temperatures ease (22 to 28 °C in September, 18 to 24 in November) and rates drop after mid-October. It is our favourite period for incentives combining coast and desert, and for autumn conferences.

Winter: Djerba and the desert

From December to March, the north is mild but damp (12 to 18 °C). Djerba keeps the sun and 15 to 20 °C, making it the destination for winter conferences and reward trips. The Sahara is ideal: 20 °C days, cool nights, clear skies. Hotel rates are the lowest of the year.

Public holidays and Ramadan

Ramadan (around February–March in 2027, dates vary) does not block an event: hotels operate normally, but local life slows during the day and some restaurants outside hotels close at lunchtime. The Eid holidays bring two- to three-day closures. We check the calendar for every project.

Turn the seasonal picture into an itinerary by comparing Djerba with Tozeur and the Sahara, then see a four-day southern incentive.
